We’re excited to announce a major update to toxnot.com.
First, the BOM editor has been enhanced, designed to streamline the editing experience. Instead of a view mode and an edit mode, we’ve combined the two into an integrated, spreadsheet-based view where you can check hazard data at a glance, and also edit the BOM at the same time.
It’s now easy to edit individual cells, and bulk edits are easier since hitting enter will move down to the cell below. We’ve also consolidated the edit actions into menus so you can see more content on the screen. To add, delete, move, or indent rows, select a row’s checkbox and then use the Edit or Insert menus.
We’ve even added an Undo option in case you make mistakes!
Second, we’ve added the ability to create your own private restricted substance lists that you can flag and report against. Private lists are a toxnot Pro feature. Look for the “My Lists” button on the Tools page. You can add entries manually, or import a file.
List flags in the BOM view will honor your private lists, and the Portfolio analytics view also works as you would expect, allowing you to filter and aggregate based on your private lists.
Please check out the new functionality, and let us know what you think!Share This Post:
